27 year old heavy weight on my way to healthy weight. My journey began in 2009 at my HW of 327lbs. Currently in the 230s lbs. with an UGW of 200lbs, or whatever is healthiest. Smart choices and hard work are how I plan to get there and I'll only follow those I see doing the same - no unhealthy or stupid crap. P90X and Insanity grad, and Half-Marathoner. Plans for another Half and maybe a Full for 2012, and posibly delve into the Tri races come 2013. Follow along if you'd like... sometimes witty, other times serious, always real.

 

Warrior Dash was awesome… most fun of a race I’ve ever ran (obviously can’t compare to Conway, Moxy/Anna)… but it was a blast. I think I’m going to register for another in KY next month.

5:30am Workout - Success

Even wore the vibrams to see how they’d feel for lifting.

Full Vibram report later on, but for now definitely two toes up.

5(:15) am workout

I am grumpy… especially since I didn’t fall asleep until after 2.

Nap before work? I think so.

I’m alright with it.

Went for a run tonight… and I really didn’t want to. But the lady friend did, so I went. Good night for a run… I went slow and tried to enjoy it. Forgot my watch, so we jogged a course that I know is about 2.25 miles… right at 25 minutes. Like I said, I’m alright with it. Some frustrations pushed me to keep going when I wanted to stop… some stopped me when I wanted to keep going. I need to learn how to use them to my advantage better, rather than let them get the better of me.

Now, to find some healthy food and sleep… getting back late from the parentals last night led to a 1am trip to the gym and 3am bed time last night. That crap has got to quit… time to work back towards being a grumpy morning person - which starts with gym at 5am tomorrow… *sigh*

While I was putting on my socks this morning, I noticed that at some point in the past 24 hours, I’ve lost a toenail. It had been discolored but not black or anything.

GPOY Scalping tickets… $2 bucks…? front seats…? court side…? Eh, I wouldn’t buy ‘em either.

Great work out tonight… utterly spent.

- 5x5 strong lifts
- curl drops (50 reps total)
- toe to bars (successfully did 1 when I figured out the technique… almost flipped a cheap squat rack on a few attempts)
- tire flips (across parking lot and back)

Thank God it’s over.
